Cruel Summer
Jul 3
Crazy as it sounds, I want it to be fall already.
I’ve never been a summer person, as I lived most of my life in cold cities (NYC, Anchorage, Canada, etc) and because of my love for wearing jackets, the summer just doesn’t cut it for me on all levels.
Life’s been so crazy over the past month that I considered hiring an assistant. The thought of someone actually listening to me didn’t exactly make for much logic, as I know I tend to be difficult to work with (or is that a 6 year rumor? HAHA).
I even crossed the dark paths of… Blackberry Nation! I’m a week into the “experiment,” but so far its become a fixture and likely wont be going anywhere soon, although I’d love to upgrade but if I decide to serve court papers again, I’ll likely have to keep the non-camera version for security reasons. Chomp Chomp.
Haven’t posted alot of work on here as of late, but when I’m authorized to leak some of the stuff, believe me it will be leaked here ASAP. Luckily for me, I don’t brag about the work or people i’m involved with, because its like bragging on the internet or even worse, bragging about having more followers on Twitter than the next person.
Moving on, working on the second half of Season 3 of Glamours Edge has been grueling at best – the episodes are much darker, and obviously with that comes the prospect of potentially damaging my image (that I spent years reparing anyways) over a stupid endorsement deal, especially when I don’t really need any help with the series (and havent had any up until this spring). I’m still on the fence on whether I want to continue the series beyond Season 3, but either way it’s been probably the biggest challenge and if you can’t appreciate a challenge, you’ll likely FAIL in whatever field you’re in.
In other stuff, its the return of the photobooth! I got a few complaints about my disastrous decision to move the photo booth over to that side spot via Picasa, so the photobooth is back in full swing. And the most appropriate way to celebrate anything photo related has to be done with the person who is responsible for getting me into the business:

Got to hangout with the Nicster and friends to celebrate fun times at her place a week ago. Always a pleasure being with the second family, as I feel more apart of their family than I do my own sometimes.
A couple of days before that, Deev celebrated her xxx birthday (that’s how she’s marketing it as, LOL) at Ultra and of course I had to crash the couch for a few.
The night after Nic’s shindig, Kenya’s B-Day party was in the MPD, and always fun times with the OH-NYC team
